Dubai is certainly a city of wonders. And with every passing year more and more of such wonders come up in this city. With the World Trade Expo 2020 being organised in Dubai, the city has been developing such tourist wonders at a great pace. There are so many places to visit that one trip is probably not enough. 😉 This city is my second home and is the only city in the world where I can think of settling apart from Mumbai.
In the below videos, I share my travel stories and also show you all the places I had visited in my 6D-5N trip. Please note that none of the tour operators would plan so many places in such a short duration of time. Planning the entire trip on my own not only helped me save a lot but also I covered a lot of places which on a typical tour would take around 15 days.
Dubai Vlog – 1
Below is our itenary :
Desert Safari with Dune Bashing
Dolphin Show at Dolphinarium
Dubai Vlog – 2
Ski Dubai (Mall of Emirates)
Burj Khalifa (At The Top)
Dubai Aquarium & Zoo (Dubai Mall)
DAY 4: (Abu Dhabi)
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
Marina Dhow Cruise
Meena Bazar & Gold Souq
So now that you have seen the above two videos, I am sure you would agree that I have covered lots of places in a very short duration of time. Although It was easier for me to plan this as I had already been to Dubai many times before this. I kind of knew what to expect from a given place as well as how convenient it would be to commute.
Tips to plan your trip
So here are some tips on how to plan your Dubai trip:
- Ideal time to visit Dubai is from November to February. January/February is the best as not only it offers you the best climate but also the Dubai shopping festival. But the downside to it, is that the Air Fare would be really expensive as it is peak season. You can easily save 3-5k on airfare if you travel on off peak season.
- Once you are done with your tickets, you need to apply for the tourist visa. Yes you do require visa to visit Dubai as a tourist. You can choose a 14 day visa as it gives you some flexibility in case you decide to extend your stay. Visa needs to be sponsored by a native UAE company so I would suggest its best to ask a Tour organizer to get your visa done.
- The next step after your visa is the accommodation. Here you have lots of options like hotels, hotel apartments, airbnb, coushsurfing, etc. You can choose what suits you the best. Also another thing to keep in mind is the food. I mean lets accept the fact, we Indians do care most about the food. Hence, I would always suggest staying near Bur Dubai as it gives you so many options to eat as Indians.
